A recurring Italian conversation class, “Italian Through Performance” encourages students to produce a three-episode telenovella of their own creation during one quarter. Students write, film, edit, and star in scenes. Italian instructor Tom Simpson, and Mark Schaefer, MMLC Media Architect, create a teaching environment using television-writing techniques, editing and filming skills.
