Learning any language can be a challenge. Beyond the memorization of new vocabularies and grammar rules, knowing what preposition to use can be among the most trying tasks. Despite having common roots, German and English express concepts quite differently at times. In English we might say “I’m going to my German class” whereas in German this should be said “I’m going in my German class.” To help students understand and study the use of prepositions in German, the MMLC developed an iOS application for use with iPhone, iPod, or iPad. The platform offers learning flashcards and specially designed games.
